2012 36 RL oven question

My unit came with a cook top but I installed an cook top w/oven (losing two drawers). I think I have the quartz counter tops but not 100% sure they look like 99% of all the other 36 RL models I have seen. Kind of a mottled brown. The back panel over the stove has vent slot but is this enough ventilation to use the oven without removing the panel?

Most countertops are corian or similar to corian. Being that it is a plastic, I wouldn't cook in the oven with that cover in place. It can burn, darken or even melt. We remove ours when using the oven.

The first picture is the Redwood optional solid quarts counter tops. The second picture is the standard countertop back in 2012, and it's not Corian, rather an acrylic formed type counter.
