2021 4001lk Awning

We have not picked up our unit yet, but need to know the length of the awning and the distance from the awning to the ground (when extended). Unable to find this information on any of the Redwood sites.
Thank you.

The heighth from the awning to the ground is all dependent on which of the 6 settings you have it set with the Carefree model or how the Dometic is set. The width may also vary depending on what they were installing when yours went through the line.
Might help to explain what your trying/wanting to do.

Thank you for your responses. I’m attempting to purchase an EZ Zipblocker sunscreen which comes in widths of 10, 15 and 19 feet with a drop length of 7,8,or 9 feet. The width is really the critical piece. Waiting for our unit to arrive may be best.

Check out the Shade Pro Vista Shades.
They have a section that installs & can remain on the awning & still roll-up with a 6' drop section that zips to the upper section.
Had these on both our awnings, the main had a 3' drop section, the rear had a 2' drop section, both stayed on the awning, which put them both approximately evenly dropped.
I would highly recommend these as quality & ease of use. They come with stakes & strings, they call them rope, to tie them down & nice storage bags.

We have a 2017 Redwood RW38RL. We lost both our awnings and all hardware in a wind storm last year. We had no way to get all that stuff home. We are trying to get repairs done but can't find the brand name of awnings. I have looked thru all our papers and books and can't find anything. I was hoping some of you could help me.
Thanks in advance

My 2016 had Carefree Awnings... my 2020 has Dometic...

IF you are replacing the ENTIRE kitten kabuttle, you SHOULD be able to do either I would think ....

There are 3 major brands; Carefree of Colorado, Dometic & Solera by LCI. My '13 had the Carefree.
If yours are bent up badly or don't have all the pieces you'd probably be better off & just as cheap to totally replace the he entire awning.
If the fabric is still good you could sell them as replacements for someone else or hang onto them as replacements for yours.

BY THE WAY . . .

If given a choice, I would hang a Carefree awning... my reasons:
They were awesome to work with
They replaced 2 awnings after 4 years, GOOD FAITH..I just had to install
The awnings ( in my opinion ) were easier to pitch water
The Carefree were pitched alba greater degree to allow water to run off.

My Dometic is just about flat, when I complained to the factory ( dometic) about collecting rain during a light rain , I was told they were NOT made for use in rain, they were considered for SHADE....
