36RL dining room slide

I am very puzzled about the leak under the dining room slide and noticed at the end of the slide mechanism it is 8" down and the kitchen side is only 6" down and was wondering if someone with a 36RL could measure theirs and see if its the same. I am thinking that when you bring the slide in its picking it up producing a gap under the floor

On our 38Rl that is the same but the kitchen side is not a flat side like the dinning slide and has the 2" height in the inside also. Our flat side does lift up slightly when putting in the slide but we are not experiencing any leaks.

I notice you have rust on the brackets like I do
It almost looks like the bolts were not tight enough and the weight of the slide when out moved. I have have not pulled mine in yet but it is concerning seeing that 1 inch of rust like something has shifted

Does anybody have a picture of their dining room slide wiper for a 36rl? I am wondering how far up it should be

Thanks

Dan

I don't have a picture Dan, but mine barely lays down in the center of the slide (almost straight down to hit the roof)

I just measured mine and I have 5" to the bottom of the bolt. Looks like mine is 1/4" higher. This should not make much difference. Can you check to see if you have a gap with the slide closed

Dan
mine is the same as AA. There are 2 wipers on the roof. One inside when you lift the outer one you can see it

The wiper I am talking about is under the slide that seals out the water
