38 RL Outdoor TV
My unit came with the mount, but no tv. I am having difficulty determining the size of tv the hole will accomodate. Can anyone help me here? I would just measure it, but the unit has been in Explore USA for repairs for 8 weeks now.
Thanks in advance

That's odd !!!
Did your order sheet include the tv ?
Are you talking Living room, bedroom, or outside ?

We had to add a TV to our outdoor space too. I guess they do come with a TV now. I am wondering why your RW has been at the dealer so long? Recently I read where some dealers are refusing to repair RV's they did not sell. Or is it a missing part? I woukd be very upset with a 2 month wait on a repair and now that we are full time I am not sure how we would handle that. Input from others appreciated.

I agree.....I've never seen a deal by any manufacture that they didn't have a tv in the outside compartment specified as a tv spot.

My 38gk didn't come with one, it was an option. 32" is the correct size.

Our 2014 38FL did not come with one, it was a option the dealer did not order.
I made the area into a storage compartment.
2 TVs inside is enough of us

I agree, I wouldn't want an outside TV and wouldn't want the additional air leak. All the other RVs I've looked at that had the out side TV compartment came with a TV.

I personally love the outside tv
The only time I go in the rv is to eat sleep or if weather is bad
Open the hatch and turn football on

Just an FYI: The outside TV is now a Manditory Option, so with a new RW you'll get one no matter what.

It sounds like the hole in the side of the trailer is mandatory and the TV is optional.

It has nothing to do with how many TVs are enough, it's just whether or not you want one outside.
I had one of the first that was installed in the basement and I was tickled they offered it because I prefer to have one outside.
I think the new dining table system created the location for the outside TV in the slide, so I believe you get the location, whether you opt for the TV or not. Otherwise, that would be an unused cavity behind the buffet.
My daughter is looking at TTs, and even thought they provide cabinetry, space, and hookup for a TV, the TV itself is usually an option.
