7 pin connection junction box wiring diagram

My left turn signal stopped working. Thought it was the bulb. well they are not bulbs, but a housing. So I decided to check that and all the bulbs work connected to a battery. I checked the truck 7 pin and I have power at the left turn/brake pin. So I decided to check the trailer 7 pin connections in the junction box mounted on the hitch. when I pulled the cover off and started pulling the wires out a couple of wire nuts fell off and the wires came apart. So I am not sure which wires go to which wires. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the connection box for the 7 pin connector?

There will not be a diagram for that wiring. Mine was all done wrong in that box from the factory new delivery. That included the brake wiring that was wrong. Your best bet will be a test light and tracing.

I actually used my continuity meter and a 12V battery to test each wire and I think I have figured it out. I haven't actually hooked up the truck yet, but according to the 7 pin wiring diagram I have everything correct, and my left turn signal works, at least with the 12V battery.

Junction Box Congested

Found junction box crammed full when doing disc brake mod. Went back with a larger junction box.

Yes it is pretty crammed with wires. I backed the truck up and connected it and the left turn signal did not work after all that I had done. Pulled out the manual for the truck and lo and behold there is a separate fuse for the trailer left turn/stop light (20 amp fuse) and it was blown (truck lights still worked). When I originally tested the truck 7 pin I must have tested the wrong pin. I've always been if the truck lights work the trailer lights should work. Learned something new. The fuse blowing is still a mystery, slight chance it was because the wire nuts had come loose, so all my work was not in vane. Only time will tell.
