I see the filters for my A/C units on the ceiling, although with my allergies I will come up with something better. Is there a filter for the furnace and if so where is it located?

There has never been a filter for the furnace on any of the campers we have had. I have Jerry rigged a filter where the air return is just to keep a little of the dust away from the furnace. About the only other thing you can do is clean the area where the furnace is located.

Is that the return at floor level between the steps and refrigerator on the 36 FB, RL and RE models.

A real air filter on the AC intakes would be nice but I haven't found any that small. You can buy the filter material on a roll but I can't afford to spend $125 to cut four small pieces every month. If you find something that fits, please post!

I'll get the size and try Grainger's or Air-Nu that had my State Contract, they have made any size I needed, I will post what I find out. A Merv 7 or 8 is probable all the unit can handle, but the one we got now will let Knats and small birds through.

Web products inc. makes a 4x12 filter it's available at Lowe's I use them in my cold air returns they don't have merv rating on them. I also got a furnace filter with a plastic grid that you can cut to fit the back side of the furnace return grill. I think the furnace filter was a 16x20 about $10

We ended up buying electronic air purifiers. They seem to help a lot.
