I will have to check to see what surge protector they put in at Tiara RV. We had it put in there. I am beginning to think we may have made a mistake not checking around before we ordered the washer dryer and dishwasher from them. They are charging 1000.00 for the dishwasher and 1500 for the washer dryer....is that out of line? Being new to this scene we don't know what is normal.

We have a Surge Guard Model 34560 50A hardwired, it automatically shuts off the power when the following is present:
Open neutral
Low (<102V) and High (>132V) Voltage
Reverse polarity

The Caution indicator light indicates:
Miswired pedestal
Reverse polarity
Elevated ground voltage

The surge protector has a 128 second reset delay which protects A/C compressors.

Splendid washer/dryer combos normally run about $1200.

Hubby installed a Progressive (hardwired) unit. Had a rain storm at the campground over the weekend and it was enough to knock out the electricity at the whole park. We were okay. Lights went to battery, fridge went to propane. Luckily, since it was a front moving thru, the temps were low enough that we didn't need the A/C. (we did the next day... it was steamy!)

It only lasted about 90 minutes. Park maintenance was on top of it.

We have exactly the same model and it works well. In Canada it cost just under $400 and dealer charged about $100 to install.

Those sound pretty close, just make sure they are good brands. Dometic makes a tiny dishwasher that only costs ~300 or so. Hopefully they are installing what Redwood uses. W/D - Saw a buddy that just ordered a Dealer option for one and it was actually a Pinnacle or some brand I never heard of.

For 1000 it better be the Redwood brand. What is the Redwood brand so I can check and make sure. Washer/Dryer too.....1500.00
