Air Ride

Has anyone upgraded to a Air Ride suspension? Was looking at Mor ryde systems, lots of good info here from ones that have used their product. Came across a air ride setup from Flex Air ride suspension systems, web site Autoflex suspensions .com

I have centerpoint air bags on my trailer and love them. Probably mid way price from more Ryde and everything else. Are you talking truck, trailer, hitch or pinbox? You can have air on all 4

Wow - that Trailer Flex on your link looks pretty cool. Have you priced it compared to the Mor-Ryde?

My Mor-Ryde estimate was $3,500.

I, like Shane, have the center point air bags on the trailer. I like the ability to add more air to the heavy side where the refer and two pantries are.

Are you saying you installed the Mor-Ryde?

Looks like the Trailer Flex parts alone are around $3,250, but it sure looks like a high tech system.

That's not what I have I have Centerpoint and it works great I can leave a ash tray on the island and it's where I left it when I get where I'm going if I was going to do it again I'd take a look at Sonnys new slipper spring set up but again mine works so good I'll never change it
oh maybe I should buy a new Redwood so I need to do it over

We're in the process now of looking at air ride systems. Our springs need to be upgraded so that leaves out MorRyde. I'll be watching this thread as so far I have a quote for around 8000.

? How come that would leave out MorRyde? The IS system replaces the springs and axles.

I'm a bit curious too on leaving out MORryde. They make the IS in 7,8 and 9k axle pods.

I think I'll stick with my Mor/Ryde IS. While that AirFlex looks neat, it also looks rather complicated and doubt you could install it with a Screwdriver and SlipJoint Pliers, plus you're still left with Axle Tubes so movement of one wheel will still transfer some to the opposited wheel, where Mor/Ryde IS suspends each wheel independent from the others by use of the Rubber Sheer Springs and NO axle tubes.

We had been looking at the SRE4000 system. But as we need to beef up the springs, the SRE is out because it won't fit with the beefed up springs. We've also been told there is no one up this way authorized to do the IS system. So now we're looking at air ride systems.
