Anyone try 235x75x17.5's?

Has anyone tried the 17.5's in 235x75x17.5 instead of usual 215x75x17.5?

According to a chart I ran across, the 235x16 (G's) I'm running now have section with of 9.5". The 215x17's (H's) are a little narrower at 8.8". You can get most of that width back by going to the 235x17's (H's) like a Sailun if you can accommodate another .7" of height.

Haven't measured my wheel well clearance yet, but wondered if anyone had opted for this next size up when going to 17.5's?

The other concern besides height clearance is the space in the middle between the front and rear tires will be less and all tires do grow in diameter slightly at highway speeds.

There is no problem going to the 235/75R17.5 H. In fact fits the same 17.5x6.75 wheel the 215 goes on.
The only issue is you have 6,000 load capacity which is over kill and the price difference.
Typically your heaviest wheel position will be 3400-3500 lbs. All you really need is 20%+ reserve load capacity that the 215/75R17.5 easily gives you at a 4805 lb load capacity.
