There is an auxiliary awning control switch in the basement of my 38GK which has now been disabled. I would recommend everyone else do the same or cover it with a switch cover.
If you do not and your stored items shift in transit and hit the switch you could end up driving down the road with a deployed awning. Sorta like in the move RV with Robin Williams.
Not a pretty site.

This is the subject of a recall. My dealer checked with Redwood to get the covers before my purchase. On Wednesday, Redwood told him all owners will be receiving covers directly.

That would be really be cool! I thought I we were going to have to take them in for installation, which would be a pain for 4 screws.

This has been covered in a previous post. I just purchased a outdoor outlet cover and installed it over the switch. Cost about $2.00 and about 5 minutes to fix. If they send be a cover, maybe I can find some other use for it.
