I didn't even request it however Crossroads sent me a cover for the basement awning switch. It has velcro on it already. Thank you Crossroads.

We received the cover yesterday also. Takes about 30 seconds to put it on.

We got one too.

Although our switches looked like they were up higher than some of the pictures of rigs I've seen. But plan to put it on when we move it out of the shed and in the back yard next week to get ready for our Florida trip.

Received our cover today, but since I already have the problem taken care of I will have to find a different use for their cover. Thinking about turning it upside down and using it to hold some small item. Don't know what yet.

Is everyone getting a black preformed plastic cover with velcro? For some reason I thout it was a wood frame hinged door with carpet on the door as I saw on one of the pics?

No concern, just curious. The black plastic cover I just got will work fine and actually looks fine.

Thats what we got, black plastic cover with velcro. I too thought it was going to be something along the lines of what people were buying at Lowes/Home Depot. Works great though.

Received ours yesterday. Had to sign for it because it was a recall safety issue. I only wish they had made it a clear cover instead of black. It would be easier to see which switch works what. It's great that they solved the problem.

The picture of the carpeted one was one that the poster had made. I already had my cover from Lowe's on, so I turned the one from Redwood upside down, stuck it to the wall and use it to put some small items in.

If you are referring to the one I posted on the other site- that was the one Redwood put on our new 38gk...
it was a simple carpeted board that was hinged on top with 1x1 spacers

Ya, that was the one. I didn't think anyone made it themselves.

Anyway, the new one is a bit different if you get one. You won't have to move stuff to open the cover, just slide your hand under it.
