Battieries

I bought new batteries for our 3901WB, and when I put them in everything worked except the inverter and the converters trickle charger. I replaced the inverter and the batteries are still not being charged by the converters trickle charger. Anyone have an idea about what might be going on and what to do about it?

If you happened to spark the cables while reconnecting you probably blew the 40amp fuses on the converter.

Thanks for your response on this. I definitely sparked them. I blew the inverter and the landing gear fuse. Is the 40 amp fuse in the battery area or in the converter fuse box area?

Back of the converter if remember correctly.

I would check the gfi on the converter. I had the same problem and found the inverter runs from the converter plug. I had a hard time seeing the reset button.

Fixed

It turns out our model of converter (PD 4590K 18L) uses 4 - 25 amp fuses to protect the system from burning out. I pulled them and replaced them. Everything is working again. Thanks for your help and I hope this will also be helpful to anyone that has this problem.
