Bedroom slideout control module
We have a 2015 Redwood RL38. Our master bedroom main slideout won't go in. The mini slideout is working. We've located the control module for the mini slideout. It was in the ceiling of the basement.
We can't locate the control module for the bedroom main slideout. Any suggestions? Any chance one module controls both slides? Thanks for the help.

With the Slide-in-a-Slide, are they both Schwintek or is the main slide the Accuslide cable system? I thought on some models that RW used two different slide systems.

on my LATE "15", but labeled as a "16".. I have 2 types....
the Schwintek style on the small slide in slide
the cable system on the large, bedroom slide...
I have no clue as to what could be your problem though...

If it's a cable system, there is no control module. Motor just moves the slide in or out until the torque increases enough for the motor to stop.
We had an issue with ours that was caused by too much weight under the bed. Would still go out, but need help. Removed the heavy items and solved the problem.

It’s definitely a cable system. We don’t have anything under the bed though

Does it make any type of noise at all when you try to move it? The motor is under the bed, on the back side of that rear panel in the storage area. You have to remove the bed platform to get to it, not an easy job.
Wonder how that managed to put everything in there, assuming they are still routing the washer drain under the bed.

It doesn’t make any noise when I press the switch. I was able to run bypass wires to the motor and move the slide in. The switch seems ok. Not sure what else to look at.

I would pop the switch out and see if it has 12V on one side and see if you get 12V on the other side when pressing the switch. Would give you a direction to look for the problem, either before the switch, after the switch, or just plan bad switch.

Lippert
Go out to the Lippert web page and download their Master Owners Manual. I tried to upload it but would not take . It has the most complete troubleshooting I have found.
