You get what you pay for. Tire safety is worth every penny.

That is for sure.
Of course I HAD to experience my first G614 failure at my expense, drove a bolt through the outside tread Teach me to drive through uncharted territory. Ca-ching.
Sure enjoyed being able to lift the trailer off the ground to change the tire at the touch of a button.

Brad,
Do you carry a battery operated impact tool or do you use a brute force breaker bar to remove the the lug bolts?

I carry a small battery operated impact gun, too small to break them loose. I use a star wrench and torque wrench

Every time I go around and torque up 32 lugs to 110 lb-ft, I am about done in. I have always wished I had an adjust impact tool that I could set the torque and just let'r rip!!

Upgrade from the original tires to the g rated 614 after three blowouts. Now another one with the 614. All 4 were checked before hitting road and had 110. 200 miles later - boom. This crap is getting old. Takes all the fun out worrying how far you can get before the next one goes.

I would strongly urge you have your axel / wheel alignment checked before going any further with your coach. There have been RW owners that have pulled as much as several 10's of thousands of miles and not blown the first tire.
Good luck.

I agree with Guy. I've now put almost 16k miles on mine. About 10k with the original suspension and the rest with IS. My 614s are barely showing any wear.
I would get an infrared temp sensor and check tire temps after a 5 mile or so.
Something seriously wrong.

I think would've had that same problem as my axles were severely out of alignment, nearly wore out the right front going from Texas to Indiana. Is the blowouts happening on the same location?
