Speaking of clean... I was told of an easy way to clean the grill grates and grill ...
On a sunny day , get a can of EZ-OFF oven cleaner , spray it all over the grates and place them in a black trash bag and place the bag on the blacktop. After basically baking in the bag for the day , I just hose off the grates then wipe with a rag... NO SCRUBBING or scraping..
I tried it this year , and it really is a nice way to do it..

For routine cleaning, the guy at Ace sold me a brush thingie that holds water and kind of steam cleans a hot grate. It works better than I thought.

I think I tried the bag thing, and don't remember the success I had. I probably just forget to try it the following year but I may this spring again now that you bring it back up.

When I bought my last grill, the sales guy told me to half fill the grease holder with sand, it works well with absorbing the hot grease and cleaning is easy with a paint scraper

I have to put rocks in mine (the weber foil trays) to keep them in there. Otherwise they are typically gone by the next day.

Ever notice how the chefs at those Hibachi places clean their grills? With water. Hmmm....maybe we have learned something after all these years. I also notice that my grill pad type, grill brush always works best when it has absorbed a rain and then I use it on the grill. Something about water and steam and cleaning; perfect together.

Definitely Weber Q. We love it. Best grill we have ever used.
