I usually dump once a week don't want all that weight sitting there!

That's our winter schedule when parked, dump the black weekly, the galley several times a week, and the gray open until a couple of days prior to the black dump.

1. I empty the black tank
2. Next I turn on the flushing sprinklers for about 15 minutes
3. Next I close valve and turn on the sprinklers for 10 minutes max and then open. I always get some residue the first few times. I do this 3 times at 10 minutes each. I set my timer and am sitting in a chair close as not to forget.
4. On my last flush I add some dish soap down the toilet and this helps lubricate the valve from the inside. At least I think it does.

This works for me and I got this from this web site about a year ago.
Hope this helps.

I have found if I hold the tank level light in for a minute it will send current to the sensor and get rid of any moisture that is on it. We are two people and have gone about a week before dumping and we are not that conservative.

Adding Calgon water softener to the tanks, helps keep the monitors working. From what I've learned with my truck camper, I never close a black tank valve until I'm sure it's clean. Too much chance of TP causing the valve to leak.

It helps if there is some volume in the tanks while going down the road. It might take a couple of times. It has worked for me and is talked about on other forums.

They call it "Ruby Red Metallic Tinted CL" on the window sticker. Their F450 looks like it's the same color.

As long as it's a 2015 it probably is. When we were shopping for Ginny's Navigator, we looked at the a Expedition (since that's what she had) and it looked like the same color.

Ah, ours is a 2014, so the color is different, or at least a different name. The 2015 is called Ruby Red Metallic Tinted CL for an Expedition.
