As we were closing up the 36FB to go back out on the road [Really sucks, buy a brand new Redwood, spend a week in it before having to go back on the road truck'n for two months!] I first drained the blackwater tank and as the owner's manual says left the dump valve open. When I connected the water hose to the scrubber connect and turned it on, water shot everywhere inside the wet compartment. Checked for a tight hose connection, checked the little screen and washer, found all to be fine. But still water shooting everywhere!

Could this most likely be a defective fitting or am I doing something wrong here? My city water connect is working just fine.

It has to be something right there. Try throttling down the hose valve so you can get in a little closer to find the problem. Hose washer? Bent hose fitting?

Tried all of that and found it leaking out of the backside of the female connection on the trailer fitting which has me wondering if the whole assembly has to be replaced due to a defect. In checking inside the utility area on the backside of the wet area's wall, I see no leakage of this line/connector assembly there.

Have the same problem on our RE was going to put the blame on the plastic end on our pocket hose, but will have to check closer now.
