Bypass Valve

Found the bypass valve shooting water out one side today. Anyone know the easiest place to get a replacement?

Thanks for any help, Steve

Steve,

That part is originally by B & B molders in Mishawaka, IN. 574-259-7838. Hot Water By-pass Diverter Valve and plate, part number 301-008-0008 w/ pex connections. Sure Tiara RV in Elkhart could get it for you. Might be on Trekwood also. I believe JR products makes one almost identical.

Check with a local rv dealer that has many parts. When mine cracked, I was able to find one locally. I think this is a common problem since they are made of plastic

Bypass valve.

Lazy Days can give you the correct part number as they deal with RedWood still.

Replace it with a brass valve from Swan Industries in Oregon. They have a web site. I did, and no more problems.

Do you know which one on the site that you used?
If it happens to me again I would like the brass valve.

Was that a perfect replacement or did you have to modify. It doesn't show a pic of the backside.

I can’t remember doing any modifications although the change was made several years a go. I believe that the connections were same as the cracked plastic valve.

Thanks for the info. This will really help. I hated replacing the plastic valve with a plastic valve.
