Cable/Satellite routing schematic
Does anyone have a schematic for the cable/satellite coax routing for a 36FL?
Terry Baughman sent me one but it's hand drawn and annotated. It basically describes the coloring of the cables with a disclaimer that the colors could change.... almost funny.
I have to connect the campground's cable directly to the TVs or I get a fuzzy picture. I suspect I have some loose connections. It's either that or Redwood used inferior quality splitters or cable or both.
Looks like there's been some forum changes since my last post.

You have probably already checked but is your antenna amp turned off?
I have forgotten to do this a few times!!

It also depends on the signal strength of the park cable system. Once connected to the port in the convenience center the signal gets split numerous times before it gets to each TV. And each time it's split the signal gets cut in half or worse depending on the splitter. But as mentioned double check to ensure the antenna amp is turned off first. Can you get any reception on the Batwing??

Yes, do first turn off the booster when connected to cable...
if it's under warranty - go to your dealer
If you are getting a good picture when directly connected,
then work 'backwards', up the cable line to the previous splitter / connection..
see if it's good there, then move to the next...
maybe get a toner to test the cables within your rig ?
might be as simple as a loose connection or bad splitter....
good luck !

There is a cable run diagram in our other forum under the manuals section at
www.redwoodrvowners .com which may help understand the cabling logic or may not!

On my FB there were only 2 splitters, 1 for cable/antenna & 1 for sat. & both were above a light fixture in the bedroom. Mine had wires crossed up on cable splitter with "in" on an "out", corrected connections & now great pictures on all tv's. Also they use antenna booster as a cable/antenna splitter.

We had the same problem. I installed a booster in the utility compartment and ran direct to all three tv. Our park signal is really weak and now we can enjoy clear tv. I used the already existing sat wire to the main tv, the factory wire to the bedroom and my cable to the basement tv.

I have one if you still need. I installed a Wingard SWM DirectTV on the forward roof area on my 2013 Redwood 36RL using the diagram. I completed the project in about four hours with most of the time on the roof installing the optional mounting plate and lots of sealant. The Redwood diagram is spot on and most helpful. The Wingard installation instructions were great and accurate.

One other note - per the Redwood TV coax wiring diagram the Wingard OTA amplifier must be turned off when using cable TV. The push button is located in the upper cabinet adjacent to the bedroom TV.

If you wouldn't mind, could you email me a copy of the cable run diagram please. Thanks.

Depends on the floor plan,
but ours is in the bedroom in the cabinet to the right of the TV
where the "antenna in"
tv connection/input/source connects.

If you have a 36FLit is located in the corner cabinet in the kitchen, located on the cable outlet.
