We will be at Fairview State Park from November 8th to the 11th and Buccaneer State Park in Waveland, Mississippi from December 20th to January 1st. Fishing and Disc golfing. God is good all the time.

This summer we travelled to Missoula, MT x3, Libby, MT x2 and Seattle/Olympic Peninsula. Are now hunkered down for the winter in Columbia Falls, MT - sold the house last week but too late to make a move anywhere warmer. Life is good!

Oregonbound, We always have room here in Texas. Hunkering down does not sound like much fun. Stay warm.

If you haven't done so already, suggest you put some heat tape or insulation around your ice maker water line as it is exposed to the cold weather under your slide. Stay warm!

Mine already is wrapped with insulation from the electric valve down to the belly, and heat tape on the valve and remaining tubing going up to the ice feed. Were there some that were not?

Ours is a 2012 RL and is not wrapped with anything. Guess Redwood made another one of those enhancements as production continues.

Although we already have our rig "wrapped up" (as shown with visquene, non-residue duct tape and foam board on the slides (20+ hours of work)), as it is 18 F this am I will need to go under and make sure the water line is insulated.

THANKS so much for mentioning that Adam! Would like to avoid any water leaks esp. in the middle if winter.

p.s. by using a wireless thermometer that I can place anywhere, I measured/achieved a 10 degree differential in the slides and under the 5er. Should save propane, and with our new slippers, keep our feet warmer.

I am retired and only wear cargo shorts everywhere even in the winter month's here. I only go North in the summer months. Do not like to be cold or to wear pants.

That info. is killing me Buddy! 19 F here yesterday morning...may get snow this morning. High of 40 today. So far so good though. Staying warm and cozy. Once we can comfortably make a permanent move, those temps sound pretty good. We did sell the house last week so one less obstacle

OMG! 19 degrees and it is still October, that's inhuman. Still in Hawaii where it has been mid 80's every day with gentle trade winds.

Almost, as we don't have the slide toppers, although am thinking about installing them to save climbing up to clear the slides prior to stowing them.

BTW - great video on winterising, although mind boggling for those of us that have never experienced those temperatures.
