Canadian border

Need some info for my Alaska trip next week.

I've read a lot of good info about proper paperwork, declaring fruits/vegies/meats, dog food packaging and pet health certificates

One thing i need advice on is what about the 6 to 8 half empty bottles of liquor on the back desk. Can i just declare them or do I need to have a party this weekend?

They have never "searched" our rig, just asked us... take that however you like ;-) The worst that can happen is they will confiscate them... might be better than a huge hangover anyway. LOL.

Just be honest with what you have and normally no issues or duty is charged.

Big thing to remember is leave any guns at home.

What's the deal with dog food packaging? We're headed to Canada in July and never heard of anything about that

Re pet food:Only been a problem coming back from Canada. The USA seems suspicious of pet food originating in Canada. If USA origin be sure to keep the packaging to prove it.
