Care and Maintenance

I just greased the suspension and also had to tighten almost all the grease fittings, It didn't look like any grease was ever put in them. I will eventually get some good ones from Grainger's and change them all.

In our owners book on page 59 it also says to tighten the axle bolts every 6 months to 145-155lbs. I checked them all at 110lbs that I had set for my lug nuts already and they were even loose to that setting. I think this 145lbs in the book has to be wrong, I felt like they would break even at 110Lbs. All were loose and I am using a dial torque wrench from Grainger's.

I see Redwood and Elevation on the Redwood RV home page, but Carriage is gone now. They are not checking with us before making all these changes. lol

Owners Book?I got a binder with manuals but nowhere do I see an owners book that has any maintenance routines like the one mentioned above. Have they stopped including this in the owners binder?

GO to RedwoodRV.com and look on the bottom of the page at Owners Manual. It will download it. I got one with my Redwood packet.

Thanks for all the help. I have some more reading to do. Will ask my dealer to get one for me from the factory.

Yes there is some good stuff in it. I have a copy on my tablet and the hard copy. I log my maintenance and trips.

When I lubed mine, had to go to Ace is the place and replace a couple that were missing. It did look like min had been greased though, I could see grease in the zert hole.
