Central Vac

I have a 2013 Redwood 38GK. How do I changed the vacuum bag in the central vac system. The owners manual is pitiful at best.

Open the curbside basement door, look left about 1/2 way up the wall, there's either a red or black cover with the Dirt Devil name on it, pull straight out on that cover, there you'll find the bag. Hopefully the previous owner used a bag, but just in case be prepared for a mess.

Many thanks! They never used it. In fact I don't think it is even plugged in, and I don't know where to do that either!

That gets harder. The outlet is behind the wall where the Dirt Devil is. If you found no bag in the unit, good chance the factory worker forgot to plug it in.

That wall comes off with about 9-12 philips screws. While you're in there, take some time and securely attach the heat duct going to the register. Otherwise at som point you'll be in there agin .......

Most of us have also made a stop at Home Depot and used heavy duty Velcro to reattach the wall when reinstalling rather than use the screws.
