Hello all! I have a 2015 Rw38GK. The central vac has decided not to work? Any ideas?

What do you mean, decided not to work???????
Has it lost suction, motor doesn't run, what?
Our lost suction one time, turns out the hose became disconnected from the vacuum

Our 2016 Redwood central vac stopped sucking..... That was resolved by opening unit and removing the plastic bag with extra bag folded up and all paperwork that was stuffed in there... Once that all was removed, all worked well..

our 2020 central vac has not been used... got my wife a Dyson V10 animal stick vac and we absolutely love it.... vacs great, light weight, and easy to use... its in the stick and brick when we are not RVing

It's plugged in behind the basement wall & that plug is most likely connected to a GFCI plug somewhere, check those to see if they've tripped. At least check that plug for power.

We have had issues with our central vac, the unit trips the GFI located in the bathroom, I can trip it when I plug the hose with my hand (that should reduce the amperage, not increase it, I called the manufacturer and they were "surprised"). I think the vac is toast, bought a portable vac and I may invest in a new central vac. I replaced the GFI and checked the wiring to the vac, no change, I suspect it is the vac itself.

The only part of our Central Vac is the "Toe Kick Dust Pan Feature", we have a rechargeable Dyson for quick jobs and a canister vac for whole house cleaning.

Central vac

Change the bag even if it doesn't seem super full. Sometimes it's the simple things. If it's not that then hopefully someone else can help!

Ours stopped working also, long story short, I had to replace the circuit card... I purchased H6G7090-RVA from RV & Auto Parts. PLEASE note that I am NOT suggesting this will work for you, you need to investigate.

Wow ... we use ours all the time with no issues...just finding the new vac bags can be an issue, but on Amazon. Find and reset all your GFI plugs and reset them.

Yep, circuit board was our problem too. Once I had the board it took less tha 10 minutes to install and check. Been working well since, especially when the bag is not full

Vaccuum

Ours wouldn't work either. I found that the hose that goes from the kick plate to the vaccuum itself was to short. You couldn't connect both ends. Went to Home Depot and bought pool hose to replace it.

Central vac

Hi all okay I have a 2015 rw38gk . The central vac was not working, so the sylnoid was Replaced. Now it's working, but seems to be running backwards? I'm confused. I checked the hose to make sure it was not clogged and it's not. Not sure what to do.
