Redwood schematics rate their water system up to 80psi. Obviously, better to have approx 50psi, but many regulators reduce volume. Several campgrounds we've stayed at have pressure too low.

I ordered and installed an on/off switch on the bottom of my shower wand and it works great. I ordered it from Dynamic-Living.com for $5.00 plus S&H. It is item # DL2518, hand held shower on/off switch.

Thanks Charlie, I've been trying to find a valve or shower head that can be shut off - especially when dry camping. I'll check it out.

Or you can go to Home Depot, and get a Danco Shower Shut-Off, Model 89184, SKU #375713 $4.95.
We just picked one up the other day. Happy Showering.

or you can just turn the water off while you shampoo or lather up and back on when you're ready to rinse.. costs nothing and no waiting for the FedEx truck.

Or stay in a RV park and don't think about it

I bought the Oxygenics shower head and even though it is a little harder to turn off, I really don't worry about it for our use. My wife and I can stay 4 or 5 days (taking showers daily and doing dishes) before our grey tanks are full. I suppose if we took quick showers we could last longer.

Perhaps I am confused here, but I checked the oxygenics shower on the web the other day and does it not havea disc mechanism inthehead you rotate to turn it off?If so, why would it be harder to turn off?

The knob is at the base of the unit and hard to turn when there's soap on your hands

The only time I turn the knurled collar on our Oxygenics is after I'm done with my shower. I turn it to the off position so it doesn't spray the DW or me when we take our next shower. When I shower I just turn the water off between rinses.
