Clear adhesive
My D seals came loose on one of my slides. I could see there was a fine bead of clear silicone like adhesive residual. The seals are in great shape, so I re-inserted the D seals in their respective grooves. Now the question becomes, what to use to as an adhesive on the edge? I looked up an old thread where the discussion ranged from Geocel MHRV2300 to Pro-Flex RV. That was back in 2015. I've now found Selsil 100% ultra-clear and Permatex 80855 clear RTV silicone adhesive, both available on Amazon. I've had personal experience with RTV silicone adhesive and not just a sealant, so am leaning to that, but the Selsil may be better. Has anyone used any of the above and what has been your experience? I think either will work. Regular silicone caulk eventually becomes loose and eventually breaks down and fails. Thanks
