Crazy Weather

I hope everybody is safe! What crazy weather we're having throughout the Southeast and the Midwest.

This is the weekend we were planing on being on the road but I couldn't get the new truck equipped fast enough to become a "toad". Yesterday we would have been running across I44 and then heading down to TX. From watching the weather channel, I'm now glad our plan didn't work out. I44 is a mess and Texas has some bad weather as well.

I hope everybody stays safe! Keep your LP tanks full, water tank filled and watch out for falling trees. I guess in weather like this, it's a good day to either grab a good book or spend the day cuddling with someone special.

We bailed from baltimore Friday morning ahead of the storm. Drove straight thru to Savannah Was sunny and 73 in Savannah yesterday and now sunny and 79 in Tampa..

We DO NOT want to go back north next week. But this will be the last year for nasty snowy winter.

Were with Vaughan,
A few more years and we are out of CT. and getting away from this weather for good. Myrtle Beach here we come. Don't quote me on the exact days but last Monday it was -1 in the morning and Wednesday morning it was 57. Tell me we are not screwing with our weather patterns!

Same here. If all goes as planned, this is the year. I've got a contract to Captain a 130 passenger Tour/Dinner Cruis boat on the Erie Canal near Herkimer NY for the summer and we're thinking Savannah - Hilton Head for the winter. Unless another Captain job in Arizona for the winter comes through ........

As I write this, sitting in the vendor camping at Tampa Show working up the energy to finish setting up the Comfort Ride Hitch display and thinking "life is good ". It still comes back to "only in America can we do most anything we want to try". No politics, let's just all hope it always stays this way.

No - actually I've talked to two Colorado River and Lake Havasu tour operators and have to talk to them again in July for next winter.

We've got to start working our way north on the 23rd

Hey Piper Guy, I hope we run into you some day! WE LOVE Havasu and Todd retires in the next year and plans to do that kind of work when he can... he is also a boat captain (Marine Patrol officer now). Definitely have had enough of this weather. GOOD LORD.
