Dirt Devil problems

We have a Dirt Devil 1500 built in. It is in a 2014 36FB.

Until recently the vacuum has worked great. I changed the filter and we have very little suction. Hose is not plugged. Any ideas? I think it acts like something is plugging it off.

The connections behind the basement wall are rigid PVC slip fit only. Perhaps one is falling out or fell off. I glued mine after I saw how they did it.

Ditto, our hose fell off the main unit, so it's now attached to a nearby stud so it can't come off.

I finally had a chance to go behind the wall. I found an obstructed pvc pipe.
Thanks to those who gave me ideas.
