Just bought a new 3901 wb . We had dishwasher installed as we were told we could. The dishwasher is not flush mounted. The dealer is claiming Redwood says this the way it is supposed to be. Does anyone have dishwasher that is not flush mounted.
Our Dishwasher is mounted as you describe. The internal buttons are accessable with the door closed. While that seams odd, but with it mounted that way, the seals are all tight during operation.
When we ordered our '13 it was explained that the island designed for the DW had the offset on the backside to allow for DW depth, the island without DW was flat on the back, 2 different islands.

Tks for response. Ours does have the offset on the back side. The dishwasher is a Dehco. It works well but this was installed at the dealership not Redwood. Though Redwood said it is supposed to stick out Dehco said that dishwasher is supposed to be mounted flush. So we have some conflict. Still working with dealership to solve the problem. Walk through the kitchen in some flowey garment you get caught on the dishwasher door.

Our 2019 3901 WB's dishwasher was installed at the factory in the island and is flush mounted.
EarlA if it's not to much trouble could you post a picture of the front of your dishwasher showing that it is a flush mount. I would appreciate it. Still having argument with dealership and would be great to have a picture to show them.

I certainly will Mary but it may be a few days. Where I keep my RV doesn’t have enough room to open the slides without taking it out. I will get you a pic as soon as I can.
