We have an induction at home and love it. And we used ours portable induction most of the time in the RV. But for us....I wouldn't want an induction cooktop in our RV because we spend too much time off the grid where we need to use propane. But if you're always hooked in to electric, then great!
We also have the Burton unit and use it every day when I’m on shore power. I have a wood cutting board I use on the burners to set it on ... After having one for years in my sticks in bricks, I wouldn’t be without it ... Thing of picking up a second unit for full time outdoor use...

In 2017 I lost mine, and I really missed it. I refused to buy another because I knew I had it somewhere, but after a year of searching I never found it. In the spring of 2018 I found it. I had stored it up against the wall in the basement of the coach with the bottom showing, and it looked like a piece of equipment associated with the RV. Silly me, but it did prove that I use it and missed it, so it's a keeper
