We just had our door latch and key pad replaced yesterday. The remote keypad worked off and on since we purchased but last week the top lock for the door latch itself would not work so we could only use the lock on the dead bolt. Our dealer ordered a new one and they told me there is an issue with the RV.LOCK that the manufacturer is working on to resolve so they said I may end up having to replace again down the road. It must be an issue as they sent the dealer a box full of door latches and keypads. I saw the box. Just a heads up. Honest dealer StormRunner RV out of Bayfield Ont.

Thanks
Rick and Kerry

We are on our second lock and third keypad so far and waiting for another lock. I think there is a problem somewhere!

Yes there is and they (RVLock.com) are working on a fix. This info comes from my dealer who was sent a box of new latches and Keypads for future problems.

Mine works pretty well but some times it takes two or three times to get the door unlocked. I wonder if this is a symptom of what is to come???

We had a problem with our main door latch right from the factory. It was replaced by the dealer this Spring and got progressively harder to lock during our month away in August. It is on my list of 10 things the dealer is going to fix as soon as the RV Show is over in a few weeks.

The issue is moisture in the keypad. Remove the battery, clean the terminals and replace the battery. Replace the batteries in the door as well. I spray a little WD40 in the latch once a week. Cleaning of the terminals seemed to work for us.
