What was the problem with your cap? was it the front?

Front end cap, Don't see any issue on rear.

What was the problem with the end cap...Was it just bad or thin paint

Herb, Did you notice this yourself or was it found at inspection time....I was looking at mine after washing it and at a certain angle and light I thought I saw what appeared to be 3 inch wide studs through the paint...About 6 of them...Haven't been able to duplicate the process again

Comes from a thin Gel Coating. Issue of paint fad on 2011 & early 2012, I'm told. Contact CROSSROADS, AND EXPLAIN, they may help.
