We also bought through the dealer and paid $1,500 which was negotiated down from $2,400. We got 6 years after the expiry of the OEM warranty

Now I'm a bit confused here, folks. Is it best to purchase at the time of purchase, or wait for the RW warranty to run out?

While I never usually purchase extended warranty, I elected to get one for the coach. As the price was right we bought on signing the contract.

Â*
If so or if not, what is the general consensus regarding purchasing an extended warranty from Good Sam or some other insurer.Â* Is it a worthwhile expenditure and do you purchase when the unit is new in spite of the two year factory warranty or do you wait and pay the used rate when the coach is approaching two years of age.Â* I have Good Sam road coverage so the benefits that apply to delayed vacation, towing,Â*etc. are already part of that coverage.
Â*
I have normally purchased the coverage on new motorhomes because of the one year warranty from the manufacturer and because of the high cost to repair a motorhome or to replace a major component.
Â*
Thoughts?
We have only had our 2013 36FB for 3 months but we have the tv and rv with Good Sams, plus we are set up for when the 2 years is up for Good Sams extended warranty tokick in as well.
