Hi,
I have a 2012... a good rubbing compound designed for boats and a few coats of wax.
If it's really bad, most owners have had their unit repainted... that is a huge cost.

If it has full body paint a good cleaner wax should do the trick , rubbing compound will be a last resort. It will remove to much clear coat if your not really careful. If its not a full body paint some owners say that poly glow is a good way to add some shine to a dull gell coat.

All,
My 2014 was terribly faded. I looked into having it repainted but as another said, very expensive. I suggest you look into as product called Polo Glow. This is a liquid product that you apply by hand. You first have to use a cleaner and then begin to add coats of Poli Glow. It takes at least five coats to make a difference. The first few will make you feel like nothing is happening but after 6 even 7 coats, my Redwood looks brand new. It is very labor intensive and applying it takes some practice as it can streak. It is supposed to deteriorate over time but I've had mine on for three years and it still looks good. Please research this carefully before you jump in. I am very pleased with the results. https://poliglow.com
