Fading gel coat

Our front end cap looks just like Titan Guy's. Our rear cap faded under the window, not on top. No amount of buffing or waxing seems to take it out.

Wow Titanguy that looks bad. Good thing it's taken care of.

I would think they'd use the same grade paint on the front and read caps regardless of whether the entire coach is fully body paint. Maybe the Full Body Paint has more layers?

They were not painted, it's colored gel coat. Don't let them replace front or rear cap or it will just fade again, paint will last forever.

I haven't been on the roof to see the tops yet, but my front cap has started to fade at the bottom corner on the passenger side.

Yep - we had problems on both the front and rear caps. Contacted Redwood and had them make a note on our file as I knew we would run out off our 2 year warranty before we could get it in for paint. We had the caps painted and gel coated at our dealer this past Spring. Redwood covered the costs.

What about the decals?
