A question for all of you Super Duty owners ~ my truck is a 2012 with the newer style headlights. Have to say I like the truck, except the lighting. My 2006 GMC that I traded had MUCH better headlights and foglights. This truck feels like I only have minmal lighting on a dark night.

Here's my question - there appear to be a number of actual HID lighting conversion kits on the market (not the blue bulbs that the kids put into the rice rockets but actual HID's with ballast systems). Have any of you done the conversion to the headlights and foglights, and if so whose kit did you use and was it worth it.

I'm currently looking at a kit made in Germany that runs about $330.00 to do both the headlights and fog lights. I also have 6" round PIAA driving lights mounted on the bumper (came out looking pretty good, almost a factory look).

Opinions appreciated

That depends on the size. I see F250's coon hunting because they are sitting down due to being underrated. I have a 2012 F450 FX4 Dually Lariat and I haven't had any problems.
