Fridge Lock

I had been trying to figure out a way to lock the doors on our Residential Samsung Fridge since we bought the trailer back in January 2015. Last night I went to Lowes bought 4 drawer handles. Then to REI and bought two nylon straps with the plastic clip buckles. I installed the handles on the sides of the wood around the fridge. Then ran the straps cross Top and Bottom and it worked out great. I will have to post a picture later of the fix but I was very pleased with the outcome. I was worried on how the handles would work but you hardly notice that they are there when not being used. Cost me about $25.00 for all the parts well worth the piece of mind when going down the road

REI... the crack store for outdoor enthusiasts, e.g. backpacking, cycling, kayak/canoe, etc.

You can get the straps at almost any sporting goods store. There just happen to be a REI next to the Lowes where I was at. I have seen them at Dicks and Cabelas also.

The fix the dealer did on mine in another thread is working flawlessly so far.

A friend just got a 2015 Montana with a Samsung residential frig exactly like ours. It came with a large round locking bolt that locks all three doors. He just unscrews the bolt and removes when he stops.. Looks great and works perfectly. Hoping to find out how to put one on ours......

That's the one Michelle and Ann saw a few months ago. Wonder if they got one for their new rig.

VERY easy to use and I don't understand why other manufactures don't use them. They can't be that expensive and they're alread in the RV market.

Ours looks like that too except in black to match all the black residential appliances

Works fine for a two door side by side like our fridge.

The mobile tech we use took all kinds of pics to try and source it - will ask him if he found a source.

I found a heck of a deal on them........buy a diesel pusher motor home and they're FREE with the purchase. Or Maybe I bought the locks and the motor home came free....either way it was a package deal.

Okay, but where can I buy something that works. I am tired of taping the door shut before each pull.
