Check out the Garmin RV 760LMT! Its introduced at www.garmin.com.

It looks like a refined version of the trucker Garmin, but with campground info, and even weather linked through your cell phone.

Hard to find right now. I'll probably wait until the price comes down a little.

I have the 760lmt. Used it one time to SC from MA with truck only and found it great. We store the RW34SK in a storage lot in Blufton SC.The 760 is large and easy to use as I have been using the garmin 460lmt.

It looks like they took the 760MLT and added some RV functions such as campground info.

I ordered the 760 on line from Garmin for 400.00 two months ago and have not seen a lower price yet. I did see them on the shelf in a truck stop in VA off 95 for the same price as I paid. Also last month going down to SC on 95 in NC going north I saw 4 Redwoods at difrenet times. They sure look good!

ya, the RV760MLT is already getting sold out, so I don't think the price will drop for a while.

They have a back up camera as well, but it's not even out of production yet.

FWIW, the Rand McNally GPS is now available as an iPad app for $99.99. It loads all the maps on your iPad so that it becomes a stand alone GPS whether you have the internet or not. I just loaded it, will be using it this weekend but so far I'm impressed . Plus you gotta love the screen size for us older eyes .........

My nuvi 5000 still works too good to swap

even use it instead of the ford mft systems in either of the new cars - it's updated - it works - I'm familiar with it - it will accept a backup camera feed - what's not to like...

only thing I want to do is install a camera on the back of the rv ...

none of the wireless types I've tried seem to work well...

Garmin has a wireless camera, but it is still out of stock. Did you try that one? just curious how well it works.

I just got the Rand McNally/Good Sam RV/GPS RVND 7725 LM a few months ago with free lifetime updates. I tried it a few times and it works great. Has all the low clearance maps and re-routing off the Trucker's Almanac.

Friends of ours with a landmark 5er have the Rand and she likes it...

Not tried Garmin's camera yet - somewhat waiting on the technology to improve before I continue testing them

and besides, have gotten used to our current 5th enough to where I don't need no stinkin' backup camera !

Buddy - we just bought the same unit. Works well and a huge screen. After the discussions on here a couple of months ago with photographs of low bridges on the motorway, we figured the truck/RV GPS was essential.

We'll keep the Rand McNally/Good Sam in the truck and the old Garmin can stay in the Mustang.

I thought the same thing until I was backing up in an unfamiliar parking lot this past Spring. A STOP sign walked out behind the camper as I was maneuvering around the place. Tore up the bottom edge of the bumper area pretty good. DW acts as the backup camera now.

I may just use the camera on the back of the cab by the cargo light so I can see my hitch up. Right now the hitch is so low I can't see anything. Its a bump and crunch until I get hooked.

I have the one that came with my Ford F450 and it did not give same directions as the Rand set in RV mode. It's a keeper. I have the Trucker almanac as well, but you need a drafting table to lay it out on. lol

I have the camera on the tailgate to get me lined up, but when I drop the gate I'm looking at the ground with bells going off.

Received one of the first RV 760s the other day and tried it to the western side of Colorado. It's cool, but now awesome. I was expecting a little bit higher resolution in the larger screen like they have done with their Marine units.

They integrate with your smartphone, and in doing so they open up a lot of screen features not normally available with just a GPS. Things like weather, doppler, traffic and traffic cameras displayed, and if you have the need to monitor your truck performance you can drop $100 for a module that plugs into your truck diagnostic plug and it reads out real time engine performance on the screen and lets you pick an economical route based on your trucks health habits Of course there is also the back up camera ($150 option).

The campground finder is the coolest feature, as you can select by hookups and size, and it search based on your locality. A little easier to use than the phone.
