Good looking range and cooktop system! A bit more stylish than the typical.

Because of the nice style and flush with counter design, I wonder if this will promote the return of gas over the all electric. Dory would love that cooktop- similar to our house.

Brad, I would agree, I like the Gas Cooktop better than the Induction Cooktop (just my preference) and this style / design looks better.

The problem with induction cooktop use in an RV is the inadequate electrical supply. As some who have the cooktop on here have discovered, you can only use one burner on high at a time.........there simply isn't the wattage available on 120 VAC, which to my knowledge most RV's are. We have an Electrolux drop in range (induction), and it's performance against gas is at least equal.

The old Atwood - Magic Chefs were designed for surface mount installs with a metal folding cover, and they kind of look butchered when they get installed countersunk in the corian with a cover, even ours now.
This new style gives you clean counter lines regardless if you go with the gas or induction top, and it looks like you can get the oven regardless of which cook surface you have. The only downside is no covers, but that may not be a downside to some, because our covers get stashed most the trip anyway.

I would have to agree about the gas stove cooktop covers, mine have not been out of the storage cabinet in 2 1/2 years

Our covers have not been off the cooktop in 2 1/2 years (except to clean under them), we bought the "as seen on tv" 2fer portable induction cookers & DW absolutely thinks they are the best & can run both on high is necessary. Now the convection microwave is a different story, don't know if it's defective or not, but everything is either over cooked or under cooked, just haven't quit mastered it yet.

My Microwave that came in my Redwood was just the standard Microwave, I missed the Convection Microwave we had in our last SOB 5th Wheel.
While in NJ this summer, I bought a GE Profile Convection Microwave and removed the standard Factory installed Microwave and installed the GE Profile unit.
One of the better mods I have done, the GE Profile works great in Microwave mode and awesome in Convection mode. I have cooked all kinds of stuff in it and been very satisfied.
