This image is from eTrailer. Com. I purchased mine at a Camping World store.

That is the same one I use and on my 2013 31SL it does allow the use of both gray tanks at the same time. It works great!

I posted this some time ago, MB owners don't try this trick or you will fill your Gray and the Galley will be empty. In the MB the tanks are not on the same level. The Galley is over the Axles in the Belly, while the Gray is in the Drop Frame section next to the main Black Tank.

I have the same one on our 38RL and it works great. I mainly bought it because we seem to always have some gray water in the tube when I would get to Dump station and got tired of it coming out when I removed the cap.

Gray tank Handle and Heater

One of my gray tank handles is frozen open and I have to dump the black.
Can I still dump it if it's still open? It got down to -16. when I was out of town. I have a 2016 38rl Redwood. I'm living in it full time. I also can't get the heater to work even after they inspected it and said everything was working before winter hit. I'm using space heaters and my fireplace that came with the trailer doesn't blow out very strong only when you're right next to it you can feel it.
The stove works and I bleed the lines but nothing, just kicks on for a few seconds and then kicks back off.

Veronica, you do what you gotta do. If I were in your situation, I would go ahead and dump the black tank. However, make sure that your sewer hose is not frozen and stopped up with ice. You might pour some hot water down your sinks and shower to melt in ice buildup prior to opening your black valve. Also, hot water just might free up your grey water valves.
