hot water bypass valve?

Found that my bypass "T" valve was cracked. So took it off to go get a new one and me being Stupid I didn't mark the hoses for the return install. Does anyone have any diagrams or pics of the proper routing of these hoses. don't know what i was thinking that day I took it apart? thanks

Was the brass T before or after the by pass valve? If it is after the bypass, it should not make any difference where the hoses go.

thanks I took several hrs.to think it through. and I figured it out. checked the water bypass valve operation . works great...but the answer your comment the t-valve is plastic and it makes a difference how the water lines feed into it and are allowed to bypass the water.
