Hwy 50 east of KS
Wondering if anyone has traveled Hwy 50 on the east side....say from KS east. Things to see and do....height restrictions, services or lack there of, etc. Thanks

Are you talking about Highway 50 East of Kansas City in Missouri?

Yes, the Hwy 50 that runs from San Fran all the way to Maryland...

It is a good road that does go through some small towns. Don't know of any special sites to see or things to do on the way.

Go to your local truck stop & pickup a Motor Carriers Atlas, the highlighted roads are good for truck traffic & there's a list in the front by state & highway # for all low clearances. We used one of these for 10+ years fulltiming along with Google maps & truck GPS, between the 3 never had any major travel issues.

Thanks, yea, use all that too.....just looking for info from folks who have traveled 50....I hear its like route 66....got some good history..
