Ice maker in 4001lk

Over the last few months, the ice in the ice maker has been clumping together when it makes ice. Almost like the ice melted a little. Has anyone else had this issue??? I have a residential refrigerator.

Most icemakers have a electric heater that breaks the bond between the ice and the icemaker so it can be flipped out of the icemaker. My best guess is either the heater isn't breaking the bond enough to empty the icemaker, or the mechanism to flip the ice out isn't working. They're usually not difficult to replace.

I am sure that is probably what happened. I contacted Insignia and they told me to contact the Best Buy geek squad. Someone got back to me right away and they are sending me a new ice maker.
