When we started full timing, we had Progressive, never had a claim so don't know good or bad, we than switched to National Interstate, and same for them. We than switched to Allied, which is a Nationwide Co. In 2009, we were in a seven vehicle accident which totaled the truck and did a little over $20,ooo to the trailer. With everything, they paid out to us close to $100,000 and then went after the people that caused the accident. We got our deductible back and except for the hassle with everything came out good. Every few years I check insurance and see where I can get the best deal for what I need. I have found that if I deal with an independent agent that specializes in RV insurance I am able to get the best deal. They are familiar with RV's and the lifestyle and by being an independent, they can check many companies.
