inverters

I have read the book that came with my RW... I THINK that what I do is just let it go..?? Kind of like Ron Popiel - Set it and Forget It ?once I unplug from shore power , the inverter will automatically kick in>? What about the settings , how many watt do I set it to , or just leave it at he factory settings ?

I leave mine on factory settings. It can be turned off so make sure it's on and yes when you unplug it should kick in.

You can down load the full info at the Magnum Web Site. There are some settings based on the capacity of your battery bank that should be set. I think the default dropout is set at 10 volts, which is low for standard Wet Cell batteries.

Thanks for all the answers.... What about outlets? Does the inverter ONLY run power to the fridge outlet?? Or ALL the outlets?? I have a small dorm fridge in the basement plugged into an outlet , should I unplug that , or turn it off before I leave? Or will the inverter run both, if it's wired

As wired from the Factory, the inverter only supplies power to the Fridge. It probably could supply some power to another low current devise but remember, the more power you draw, the bigger the drain on the batteries.
Per the Remote Display, the Fridge draws approx 10 to 11 amps from the batteries when running.
