Ladder mounts
I need to replace a couple of the ladder mounts on the rear ladder... I cannot find any info anywhere in the ladder, or online to get the mounts ??

They make such poor mounts just unbelievable for a unit of this cost. The one on our truck camper is soooooo much better.
You may want to look at a local metal fabrication shop and see if they can come up with something better

It looks like they installed the ladder too far out on the hanger/mount. My ladder is closer to the body of the coach. Give Joe Davis a call at Stoltzfus RV in West Chester. Great guy in the parts department. He just looked high and low for me for a simple $3 lens cover.

Thanks , I just sent the pics to my dealer since I cant find info online anywhere . . We will see what they say , if its a dead end , I will call Joe..
I was hoping to find a place that I can get 4-6 of them...
As far as making them myself , I may do that , once I replace the bent ones , I will take one of the extra ones and use it as a template...

Ford Truck Guy, did you get any resolution on the ladder mounts? Mine aren't as bad as yours but they are starting to go. I want to fix or replace before the mounts rip off with me on the ladder.

Good Morning Steve ,
It was determined that I had a Christianson Industries Ladder , so I called them. They asked for the ladder number , which is a sticker under one of the steps. Mine was #244759
Christianson Industries, INC
27328 May St
Edwardsburg, MI 49112
269-663-8502
I paid $17.50 for the complete set of standoffs , and $14.20 shipping... $31.70 total

That shipping is a little steep!! It would probably cost the same to ship the whole ladder. Oh well at least you can repair it before it does more damage.

New Ladder
I need to buy a whole new ladder for my 2014 36RL. Do you think I could just purchase it from Christianson Industries?
Part# 222627
Thanks,
Dave

You may want to contact Tiara RV in Elkhart, IN. Be prepared to supply them the VIN for your coach and they can tell you the exact part number and give you a price on the part.
Tiara RV: 574-266-2136 and ask for parts.

Maybe it's just me, but those mounts look like they're turned the wrong way.

I don't trust any of the ladders as I am a 'stout' guy
I use a separate telescoping ladder that I lean against the top of the existing ladder so all the weight is on the ground and not on the coaches ladder support...

I agree with Shrode, turn them 90 degrees. My ladder is made differently from that, but it is still too flimsy for me to try to climb.
