LED's on new front cap

So I was wondering those of us that have the new front cap with LED lights when are you guys turning them on? (referring to the red led's at the top) I wished they were yellow or amber so we could have them on running down the road but being red I'm sure that's a ticket just waiting. As for the led's above the pin box they are about useless in my opinion, I had to raise my pin box as far as it would go and now light just shines on the pin box. With the trail/air tri glide it blocks the light completely. Would like to mount led's somehow on the bottom of the pin box but not sure if its possible, any ideas?

Good Question

Railcat, we have the 38FL, and haven't found a good use for the red cap lights yet, except for one Snowy night when my brother and his wife was going to visit us at the campground. I told him like Tom Bowdit, we'd leave the light on for them. They found us with no problem.

Amazing how long battery driven led's will last - you might consider something like that from a walmart etc...

just stick it where you want and flip it on...

I have a motion detecting one on my outbuilding at home

Our switch is on the bottom of the front cap (Facing Down) just to the right of the of the hitch when facing the hitch

It's on the underside of the overhang to the left of the trailglide pin. 2 switches one for the white lights and one for the red lights.

Has anyone ever figured out the purpose of the new LEDs on the front cap? They look cool, but not sure what their for or if I'd ever use them (if mine had them).

Just for look. They are becoming popular. Walking through a campground a few weeks ago and they all looked cool. Voltage has 2 blue checkmarks.

We are park hosts, and the park we are in is closed at night. We love the red light at night as a strong visual that says, "HELLO THERE evening park visitor! We are HERE!" It's awfully cool looking too. On our recent trip, we had many people stop on their evening stroll and tell us they liked it.
