I did have to intervene with the Park Ranger once on this one - double ball pull, fine

But then he broke one side of his bumper loading it. We heard it pop across the campground. He jumped up and down on the bumper a few times and he figured it was OK I guess

...........and then I noticed his wife and kids close the door in the camper from the inside Crazy man - that's a no-go. The ranger stopped them before they left the park. Not sure what he did, but I assume made him get the truck fixed.

Only thing we ever pulled on the bumper was our Pop-up. I sure wouldn't want to be double pulling attached to only the bumper.

Brad, I've looked inside some and it's surprising what could fit inside those double stackers. I have seen boats on the top.

I wanted to put a golf cart and jet skis on the top and then the truck below. My MH is rated for 15k on the trailer so I could pull a lot but I've been told by some folks that they have problems with the trailers while others have said no big deal. The plus side is that you can back a trailer up and when I pull flat and can only roll backwards a few feet before the steer wheels turn on the truck.

In RVs there always more things to figure out.

Good point on the backing up - I've been caught a few times already and had to disconnect the TJ. I had no idea those were that cavernous. Are they still within the 13'6" height?

Of course then I would be back to ST tires - my worst nightmare, but I guess the boat has them anyway

I've seen some that were work shops when empty complete with their own generators and a/c.

The big ones usually have either air ride or the IS suspension with triple axle. One guy loaded up a razor, lifted it up and then backed his pick up truck under it. He said the razor was almost too tall. It sat just above the bed of his truck.

Best one I have seen was a Prevost Bus and they had a Lotus underneath the bus. raised the cargo doors and carrier slides out and lowers to the ground and drive off the car. It was a crazy rock star bus

We saw one a few months ago and he had a Mercedes on top but his worked a little different. The complete tailgate lowered and then he went up a stair case and backed the car out onto the lift that slid out from under the car rails. We were all watching since it looked a bit scary. It had large bump stops at the end and once completely out of the trailer he lowered down to ground level. 3 axels with IS.
Said it took a few try before he felt comfortable but is used to it now.

Saw one similar to that pulled by a Prevost & the trailer was longer & made like a wagon, the front axle turned & the rear axle was all the way at the rear. It was a beautiful set up.

That would sure be nice for full time or even snowbirding. I catch some of those for sale sometimes online - full setup. Probably folks finally giving it up.
