Did he do the slides as well? When you can take a good look at it will you post some pics? Thanks

What do you mean the slides already have a sealer on top? Mine didn't come with a sealer. Is it something you put on yourself?

My slides just look like the same Alpha roofing that's on the roof.

I thought I had read you say somewhere that you worked for the DOD. The company I work for just built a facility for them in Pueblo, and are building another where I'm at.

Very much so, we are looking to trade our 36 FB in for a 38 GK. The roof and Morryde IS will be the first two thing I get on it.

For the ones that are asking about slides, they charge an extra 100 dollars per slide. I am doing my 3 slides. It seems like a good price for protecting the slides too.

Do you know if you have slide awnings, is it still $100 or is it more?

They just got finished with mine today. It looks great. One thing to note about getting the slides done, is that the lifetime warranty doesn't cover those. The reason being, that they can't get the whole slide, behind the seals. But, this roof looks great. We had a tough go at it yesterday, being rainy, so we left it in the building. It wasn't curing very fast, so we pulled the RV out in the air this morning after the weather cleared up. There are several layers that have to be applied, and each layer needs to dry before the next is applied. Ended up working 2 full days, when with good heat and sun, could have finished in a little over a day and a half.

After watching him do it, it would be relatively easy doing it with toppers on. But, like Buddy said, you probably don't need it there since you have toppers, unless you just want the extra peace of mind.

the white will keep it cooler, I'm enjoying the no caulking and peace of mind. Like I said, I could have built a shep for the RW, but when we go fulltime I needed something to protect it while on the road in any conditions.

^ I put the tan on mine, since the original color of my roof was tan. This is a shade or two lighter.

The guy that came to my house to do mine was a trainer and was leaving my house for Hershey to train a crew.

We had the RV Armor roof installed on our FB in July. Several seals around the vents and at the caps were starting to look pretty bad and we also had a small tear on the back corner from a menacing tree limb. We're full timers and need our home to last through hot sun and stormy weather. So rather than spot fix we decided to do the entire roof with the lifetime warranty. So far we are happy with it. We did not have the slides done. Two of our slides have covers. There are some things to consider. While we were pleased overall with our installers, we think our roof may have been their first one to do in the field. It might be wise to ask for installers that have had a few jobs already completed. Looking at the roof from above, it does not look as smooth as the roof on the website and we did have to ask that the roof sides visible from the ground be worked on until we could no longer see runs of the coating. The couple that did our roof were very nice people and worked hard at making sure we were pleased before they left. The installation was probably not done in ideal conditions. It was very hot (90+) and the coatings were drying as quick as they could get them down. They did repair our little rubber tear at no additional charge. Also, be aware that you may not run your A/C during the installation. The A/C creates moisture on the roof that interferes with the application. Pick a time of the year or area of the country where the weather will be dry and mild during the installation. Another thing to consider is that our roofs curve over the side. Redwood paints the curved portion of the rubber that can be seen from the ground to match our beautiful paint. After the RV Armor is installed you will see bright white all along the top curved edge. I'm starting to get used to the look, but we do plan to paint it to match the tan of our beautiful black and tan. Marilyn
