Lights Above Dineyte and Recliners Don't Work

Hi Redwood owners, My 12V lights above the dinette and recliners don't work. They are fed by 2 separate 12V switches. I have confirmed there is no 12V power feeding the light fixture above the dinette. There are no blown fuse indicators in the fuse/breaker box. I haven't tried swapping out fuses. Has anyone experienced similar issues?

Had a similar issue but it was our bathroom lights and vent fan that would quit working for no reason. 5 minutes later they would work. Very sporadic from day 1. I would replace the fuse even though it did not look blown and everything would work for weeks and then quit again. After checking switch connections and finding no issues I went to the fuse box and found the two blades inside the fuse slot were too far apart. Pinched them closer together and have not had a problem since. Somehow the fuse was losing a good connection in the box.1

Thanks, Rick & Mindy. I'll try replacing/checking the fuse. Matt

Also you might was to pull the front panel off the power distribution panel and check all the connections to verify they are all tight (advise disconnection shore power before checking the AC ckt breakers)

I also went round and round when we had problems with our power awnings (a problem of my own making). The fuse feeding them proved to be blown but the "blown fuse indicator" did not illuminate. My advice is to not trust those "blown fuse indicator lights.

If I remember right, the blown fuse indicator will only light if the circuit is trying to draw current. So for a light circuit the light switch would need to be in the ON position.

There is also some type of plug near the rear side of the slide outside, where the 120V and 12v come from under the RV to the slide. I had a small problem once with the 120V connector plug, was able to fix it a few years ago - alls well for now. I don't remember the 12v plug but it should be close to the 120v.
Good Luck!!

I did. Repair guy found that mice ate through the wires under RV. All works now

Dinette Lights etc

I had that same issue while still under warranty with a 2017 redwood that has the "In Command" electrical system. The dealer FINALLY found a loose connection BEHIND the In Command box in the belly. Said it was barely making contact....tightened it up and solved the issue of the dinette light, lights over the theatre seats and the 12V sconces on the back wall.
Best of luck to you....

Did you ever find the problem? I'm having the same issue with the lights above my dinnette and chairs in the back of the coach. I've searched everywhere and cannot find the problem.
